The Brief, July 17: Dirt Cheap Hotels, Game Show Dough

With a good dose of cheap (really cheap) hotel getaways and heap of sporty phenom news, the Brief takes you on a shortcut to today's best headlines. Whether it makes you smile for randomness' sake or makes you believe in the almost-impossible, these stories are sure to feel good.
A one-cent hotel rate was a lucky vacation-dream come true for some online shoppers. Let's hope that source of "human error" keeps his/her job!It's a bird! It's a plane!
