The Dogwalk Catwalk

Charity fashion shows have gone to the dogs ... or, at least, the one happening at New York's trendy M2 Ultra Lounge on July 27 has.

The show in question is Paws for Style, an annual fashion show (now in its 10th year) that raises for money for The Humane Society of New York, an animal adoption center that also provides affordable veterinary care to dogs and cats in the Big Apple. The show is always quite an event, featuring celebs walking down the runway with a dog (either their own or a rescue pet) in matching person-and-pooch outfits by the likes of Oscar de la Renta and Adam Lippes.

Who are you likely to see on the catwalk — aka the dogwalk — on the 27th? Some Real Housewives, a Stern wife, and some Broadway stars. We can't name names ... but a hundred bucks will buy you a (fundraising) ticket to find out, along with plenty of good canine karma.

And, just like a traditional fashion show, you can buy the runway looks after the event, but these pieces will be sold on eBay to raise additional funds for the Humane Society. But if you're bidding on something other buyers want, prepare yourself for a catfight.
