'The Lazarus Effect' Premieres Tonight!

the_lazarus_effect.jpgTonight is the television premiere of the HBO documentary The Lazarus Effect. Directed by Lance Bangs, the cameras follow four HIV-positive Zambians to show how this particular medication — which costs only 40 cents a day — has changed their lives.

Earlier today at 4:00 pm EDT, Bangs participated in a live chat Q&A on Huffington Post. He answered questions about the film, the issue of HIV and AIDS and why supporting (RED) and the efforts of organizations like The Global Fund and The U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief are so important.

Tune in tonight on HBO at 9 p.m. EDT to watch The Lazarus Effect.
