The Most Charity Conscious Cities in America

NYCskyline.jpgCharity Navigator, America's largest charity evaluator, revealed the results of their seventh annual national study in a press release today.

The hope was to: "determine and analyze any statistical differences that may exist in the financial practices of charities located in different metropolitan markets across America and to see if any differences exist in the financial performance of individual philanthropic communities from year to year."

According to the report, the top five cities (in order) with the most overall financial health are: Pittsburgh, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco and Kansas City.

Find out Charity Navigator's methodology here.
