VIP Tickets for James Taylor/Carole King Tour to Benefit Charity

Legendary singers Carole King and James Taylor are offering VIP Stage Seats to fans as part of their Troubadour Reunion Tour, with all proceeds going to charity.

The tables for two, arranged around the center stage in an intimate, club-like setting, are an homage to the pair's 1970 performances at L.A.'s Troubadour Club, for which their tour is named.

Dozens of charities will benefit from ticket sales associated with the special seat package, including the Natural Resources Defense Council and Alliance for the Wild Rockies — both causes long supported by King and Taylor. Another 90 national and local charitable organizations, including Autism Speaks and Habitat for Humanity also stand to benefit.

That may sound far-reaching, but the VIP Stage Seat Packages, available for 37 of the Troubadour concerts, are estimated to raise over $1 million. In just a matter of days limited fan club pre-sales raised over $600,000.

“We are both as passionate about the importance of giving back as we are about our music. And we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to positively impact so many outstanding social and environmental causes with this tour,” said King.

"We also saw a national reunion tour as an opportunity to support the great work that charities are doing all across the US," said Taylor.
