Pet parlours just got futuristic thanks to a new craze in Japan with a machine that promises to wash and dry your dog for you.

Yep, as crazy as it sounds, dogs in Japan are going into the machine dirty and coming out sparkly clean. In just half an hour the little pooch gets hosed down with special water that's safe for its eyes and then a warm breeze offers the best blowout in town. Cats can even pop in for a wash and dry too! And this Japanese lady says it's the comfiest booth in town... Whatever next?
