Water, Water Everywhere
The choice of a water container is a very important decision and the one you pick can drastically affect your health, how much money you spend, and have an impact on the environment. Should you use water bottles or reusable bottles? While the correct answer is a reusable one, which reusable one you choose can make a huge difference.
Plastic water bottles are not the best option because toxins from the plastic can be released into the water you drink and this risk increases the more you reuse the bottle. In addition, disposable bottles can last for a very long time and are currently taking over our landfills. Furthermore, recycling plastic bottles is not much better given that the melting of plastic releases dangerous toxins into the air.
There are many reusable water bottles out on the market today with various designs, features and prices. Some of these bottles include, but are not limited to, the Eco Canteen, the SIGG and Nalgene bottles (which are BPA-free). I recommend shopping around and researching the different types in order to find the right reusable bottle for you.
You will find that you drink more water during the day by using a reusable bottle and consequently will have more energy, better health and focus. Most importantly, these bottles will keep your family safe from dangerous BPA Polycarbonate toxins, save you hundreds of dollars, and help the environment. For all these reasons and the countless more not listed, I highly recommend switching to reusable water bottles instead of using plastic bottles.
