Amazing Wood Recycling Program

Meet the Bristol Recycling Project. This amazing group of people are kinda like the ASPCA of the wood world. They give lost, unwanted, or discarded wood and new life.

According to TreeHugger, they are a community-based enterprise lumber yard that stocks entirely reclaimed timber that would otherwise go to a landfill. They collect donations of used wood and recycle it into other products or sell it to others to do the same.

The lovable site manager Lisa has been working on this project for 18 years. She explains the wasted wood comes from rundown building sites and schools. It would usually get thrown away but instead is transformed into beautiful shelves and furniture.

Lisa assures us, "The quality is still there on the inside.... "
