Fashionistas listen up: Swedish clothing store H&M is going to make shoe-crazy shoppers very happy this fall. The world’s third biggest retailer is going to carry a line of top shelf shoe designer Jimmy Choo shoes. You know the name from, where else, Sex and the City. “I’ve lost my Choo!,” Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) yells as her stiletto drops off her foot while she’s racing to catch the ferry.
You may also know it because Michelle Obama wore Jimmy Choos on Inauguration Day, Reuters reports. Big fashion meeting low budget means even those who aren’t so well-heeled in these economic times, can actually be, well, well-heeled.
The line won’t be available until Nov. 14, but if it’s anything like the madness of times past when they’ve carried the “Madonna collection” or designs by Stella McCartney and Karl Lagerfeld, you might want to get there a day early, sleeping bag on the sidewalk style. In your best shoes, of course.
