The one human we know from the Twilight saga besides Kristen Stewart is her classmate Anna Kendrick. And that’s saying something given the amount of supernatural vampires and wolves that humans have to compete with in the film. Kendrick’s also been able to star alongside well-respected actors like George Clooney and Vera Farmiga in Up in the Air, proving she can play in both teen and adult movies.
Speaking of those adult films (Rated R flicks, not porn), don’t expect Kendrick to bare all in a sex scene. She told the Telegraph’s Tim Walker, “Emphatically, no. I will not do that…. I have been lucky because I have not been pigeonholed into the teenage movie category. I am not criticizing people who do that [nude scenes] but I plan to keep doing what I am doing and hope it keeps going good.”
Kendrick is currently promoting her latest film with Michael Cera Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and on yesterday’s The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, she relayed how she took her mother for her first trip to the Oscars, but she left mom at home when she went to the Madonna afterparty, admitting it was rather scary (see below).
Kendrick’s also a champion for fanatics. She recently told The Wall Street Journal, “People like to make fun of the fans who camp out but people have Renaissance fairs; people do Civil War reenactments; people do what they like. I’m tired of hearing people rag on the fans. If you don’t like Twilight, don’t buy a ticket.”
The Maine native is sure down-to-earth, and we can’t wait to see her next film — clothes on, of course!
