Cue music! Yes, there’s an article written below, but first, prepare yourself by watching the video.
Now that you’re in the mood, we’re happy to announce that Apple is going Back to the Mac! Which Mac is that exactly? There’s Fleetwood Mac, Mark Morrisson‘s “Return of the Mack” and McDonald‘s Big Mac. We know it’s been a while that you’ve associated Apple with its Mac computer line (what with iPads, iPhones and iPods being so cute and leaving computer sales in their pixie dust), but the company is holding a conference at 1 p.m. EST today on its Cupertino, Calif. campus to announce that it is indeed revamping its computer line.
What can we expect? As is usual with Apple, it’s hush-hush. But CNN reports what we cannot expect. Peter Oppenheimer, Apple’s chief financial officer, said there probably won’t be a new iMac on the horizon and that the desktop line got a July makeover, so probably no innovations there. That leaves us hoping for a swanky new laptop that we can ask Santa for this Christmas. We’re not saying it’s a sure thing, but go ahead and pencil it in, just in case.
