Today Apple opened the Mac App Store for those using the operating system Snow Leopard. With more than 1,000 apps (for your computer, not your phone) you can do fun stuff like download games, music, organizational tools and more to your Mac.
“The [iPhone] App Store really revolutionized the way you acquired apps on a mobile platform … we think there’s a really great opportunity to do the exact same thing on the Mac,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of internet services, according to Macworld.
With 2011 here, these apps could be especially helpful for your New Year’s resolutions to lose weight, save money and be more environmentally-friendly … or just make more fart sounds. Check it out here.
