Help Bing Raise $1 Million for Public Schools

bing-public-schools.jpgMicrosoft‘s search engine Bing announced this week that the company will be raising $1 million for public schools in the US before Dec 31.

They’ve partnered with Donors Choose, an organization that helps individuals donate money to support classroom projects across the nation. So far, The Bing Million Dollar Giving Challenge has raised $30,000.

Would you like to support this effort free of charge? If you go to this Bing site and click on “help now,” you are given the option to donate $1 to Donors Choose on behalf of Bing. You also have the option to donate $5 to Donors Choose if you make Bing your homepage. One click is all it takes to help Bing get one step closer to reaching its $1 million dollar goal, so don’t forget to tell your friends.

Oprah Winfrey highlighted this challenge on For the First Time Ever: Oprah’s Ultimate Favorite Things! Part II, and since she said Bing was one of her favorite places to shop, Bing created a special page where you can find all the past things Oprah has announced as her favorites.

Don’t forget to donate $1 or $5 with just one easy click, here.
