During the finale of U2‘s concert in Nashville, a blind fan in the audience, Adam Bevell, held up a handmade sign saying he was a blind guitar player and wanted to play a song for his wife. Bono saw this, guided him on stage and handed him a guitar. Together they played Adam’s favorite song “All I want is you.”
Adam has been to at least 20 U2 concerts and can happily play many of their songs on the guitar, which he has been playing since going blind to help him get through hard times.
“It was the greatest feeling knowing that I was playing with the greatest rock star in the world but he didn’t make me feel like that at all, he made me feel like we were in our living room,” he said. “That was it for me I said, you know what that is on my bucket list, if you will, that is the one thing I want to do.”
At the end, Bono, being the kind person he is, let him keep the guitar which happened to be a rare green Irish Falcon. Watch the amazing clip below.
