When Jack Henriques built himself a giant barbecue two years ago, he received so many compliments, he decided to launch his own company and build the world’s largest coal barbecue ever! After three months of hard work, he’s finally unveiled his piece de resistance, dubbed the God-grilla.

Standing 11-foot high and weighing two tons, this barbecue is not for the faint hearted, reports Britain‘s Daily Telegraph. In fact, vegetarians look away now! When fully lit, the giant structure creates a wall of flames capable of grilling 500 burgers simultaneously (with three chefs on flipping duties) or seven whole lambs. Now that’s what we call a meat feast!

Henriques who now runs the Bespoke BBQ Company from his workshop in the Cotswolds couldn’t be happier with his creation, especially as one of the UK’s leading chefs, Tom Aikens has just commissioned one for his new central London restaurant. He even has plans to go bigger yet. “‘I have never seen or heard of a bigger fixed barbecue but I’m sure we will go much larger in the future,” he said, adding: “the sky is the limit.”

Any barbecue enthusiasts out there considering making a purchase, be warned, the God-grilla doesn’t come cheap at $15,650, it uses at least 14 bags of coal every time you fire it up. But one thing you can be sure of … it will be definitely impress the neighbors!
