Due to the recent antenna issues on the iPhone 4, some of you may have been waffling about becoming a member of the iPhone cult (join us, join us …). Well, waffle no more — especially if you’re single and ready to expand your mingling horizons. According to Wired magazine, a recent survey from dating site OK Cupid notes that iPhone owners are getting more, shall we say, bedroom coverage than BlackBerry or Android owners.
As the survey notes, by the age of 30, men with an iPhone have had an average of 10 sexual partners, while those with a BlackBerry have had an average of eight and Android owners an average of six. Meanwhile, iPhone owners of the female persuasion have had more than 12 sexual partners by the age of 30, while BlackBerry owners are closer to nine and Android owners, again, have had an average around six. As the OK Cupid blogger sarcastically notes, “Finally, statistical proof that iPhone users aren’t just getting [expletive] by Apple.”
The survey also found that, among profile pictures on the site, the Panasonic Micro 4/3s is the camera to use if you want to look your best. In addition, using a camera with interchangeable lens is better than a point and shoot or camera phone, and using a flash can actually make you look older.
So now that you have another reason to buy an iPhone, all we ask is that you use your newfound power for good, not evil. And, hey, use protection.
