It’s available with a variety of different slogans (I am beyond happy, I am beyond lucky, etc) that are likely to make you feel as inspired and uplifted as a morning session of warrior poses and downward dogs.
The bags are canvas, but are much more structured than a plain old tote, with a flat bottom and organizational pockets. And, although it’s not long enough for a yoga mat, this roomy sack packs in tons and tons of stuff, and is strong enough to lots handle heavy items like hardcover books and water bottles along with clothes and lighter gear. (Oh, and how cool is it to carry a bag that broadcasts a message to make you smile instead of a showy designer logo?)
Sure, it’s a useful bag to add to your collection … but there’s an even better reason to pick one of these totes up. Beyond Yoga created the bag to raise money and awareness for The Art of Elysium, a non-profit that brings art, music, and theater to children with serious medical conditions. Thirty percent of the purchase price ($65) goes to that great cause.
