Christina Aguilera might be between albums, but she’s not taking a break from the issues that matter. She’s recently become the new international spokesperson for World Hunger Relief and their From Hunger To Hope campaign.
The singer already filmed a PSA last week (see below) and will appear in posters, online promotions and other advertising to help call attention to the cause. Aguilera, a mother herself, embraces the campaign’s efforts to focus on children.
The singer said, “It’s unacceptable a child dies every six seconds somewhere around the world from hunger. By lending my voice for World Hunger Relief, I hope to raise awareness about the issue and move people from hunger to hope.”
