
Lung cancer survivor, Lee Rhodes, decided to turn her glassblowing hobby into a way to raise money for cancer patients.
She makes colorful candle holders and sells them at her new store in New York City called Glassybaby. A portion of her proceeds go to various local and national nonprofits.
Rhodes recently offered her candles to support Ellen’s Run, a Long Island event supporting breast cancer patients, and the Phoenix House Summer Party, a fundraiser for the organization’s work to help families affected by drug addiction.
