It’s here. It’s queer. It’s from Yugoslavia.
This mannequin, who I’ve decided to call Flavenka after researching Yugoslavian names on this obviously trustworthy website, is wearing what appears to be the remains of a drag queen.
Other possible entities harmed in the making of this “hat:”

- Big Bird (remember that movie when Big Bird got kidnapped and they dyed him blue to hide his identity, and it worked? Someone could have plucked big bird and dyed the feathers pink to hide their origins and to avoid creating that “I’m the sun” look. Don’t pretend you don’t see the similarity in texture. M.S. If you were stranded in Siberia and had no choices but to freeze or wear the “pink Aslan” look, we could understand your inclination to pull this off Flavenka and save yourself. But to pay a minimum of $9.99 plus shipping to have it sent to wherever you are from Delaware? No one is that cold. Or something.
We wonder if it’s headband/mane-style or if it goes all the way around like an actual bird hide. WTF?
