Our friends at Falling Whistles, pioneers in the fight for peace and freedom in the Democratic Republic of Congo, released their first short film this week. To many of us, Congo feels like it’s worlds away. Child soldiers, unthinkable. Conflict minerals, foreign. The idea that as consumers we participate in the enslavement of others, too horrifying to think about.
