Wedding bells are ringing for Hulk Hogan, 57, and his fiancée, Jennifer McDaniel, 35.
According to E! Hogan and McDaniel picked up a wedding license in Florida this week. E! also reports that Hogan has asked his son, Nick, to be the best man and that daughter Brooke is “thrilled” for the newlyweds-to-be.
TMZ reports that the license expires on January 11, 2011 so the couple only has a few months to walk down that aisle and make it official.
Hulk was heartbroken after his 20-year marriage with ex-wife Linda broke down following reality TV show Hogan Knows Best. Soon after his split with Linda, Hogan met McDaniel. They’ve been together for two years and Hogan told TMZ, “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.”
Last year Hogan told The Hollywood Gossip that Jennifer was very different from Linda.
“If you’re in my home and watching TV, you have to watch the science channel or the history channel or cartoons. She doesn’t watch anything negative like the news or TMZ. She doesn’t read the newspaper. She always walks in the Spirit of Christ, she never deviates. I can really see myself marrying this woman.”
After some tough times, it’s wonderful to see Hulk stepping back in the ring and getting a second chance at happiness. Congrats to the bride and groom to be. We wish them a lifetime of happiness.
