These days, it seems like there are two kinds of people: iPhone-people and everything-else-people. I’m convinced that my best friend, an everything-else-person, really wants an iPhone. For her and possibly millions of others, the only thing standing in the way of getting the greatest invention ever is a contract with Verizon.
Verizon CEO Lowell MacAdam announced today that come Feb. 10, Verizon customers will be able to purchase the iPhone with their wireless plan. He joked at the press conference, “If the press write something long enough, eventually it comes true.” If that’s the case, what other rumors shall we spread? Free iPhones for all?
