Good news for consumers looking to buy Apple‘s 3GS iPhone! Just today Wal-Mart decided to cut the cost of the 16GB model iPhone in half bringing it down from $199 to $97.
Why is Wal-Mart being so kind you may ask? No, the batch of phones aren’t toxic. There is speculation that Apple will launch the new iPhone 4G at its WorldWide Developers Conference in San Francisco starting on June 7.
Quite often manufacturers will cut prices on old inventory before introducing a new product.
