Zachary Wants to Make Us Laugh and Smile
I caught up with Chuck star Zachary Levi the other day at Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, Calif., where he was training for the Toyota Pro Celebrity Race. In the mid-April race he will compete against celebs like Adrien Brody, Christian Slater and reigning champ Keanu Reeves to raise money on behalf of Racing for Kids, a fundraising program benefiting Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. I asked him his personal favorite charity to support and without hesitation he answered, “Operation Smile.” Zachary said, “It’s tough because there are so many charities and they’re all good causes, but there’s something about being born with your palette fine and having great orthodontist and all that stuff, and then one day I was looking at a billboard for Operation Smile and thought that’s gotta be really, really, really difficult growing up and not wanting or being able to smile.”
Keeping up with a Kardashian
Keeping up with a KardashianNewlywed Khloe Kardashian’s been busy filming her reality show in Miami and sitting courtside at her new hubby Lamar Odom’s Laker games, but she still finds time to spread a weekly dose of goodness through cyberspace, allotting a day each week to write about a charity that’s resonating with her. This week she wrote about Esperanza4U, which she says, “Means Hope For You and it’s a charity devoted to empowering children growing up under inhumane conditions.”
Jackie Chan’s Action Packed Day
Jackie Chan is apparently an action hero on and off the screen. After a bit of singing, photo signing, somersaulting onto the stage and distributing flowers, international star raised over $5 million at a fundraiser for the Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution in only three hours. Cute Couple of the Day
It was another case of amicable ex’s. Not only was Molly Sims recent ex Aaron Eckhart on-hand for the launch party of her new jewelry line Grayce By Molly Sims The Collection at Henri Bendel in NYC Tuesday night, but he also personally took the photographs for the collection’s ad campaign — in his house! Keeping it further in the family, the event was photographed by Sara Jaye Weiss who met Molly several years ago in Tijuana, Mexico when she was photographing Molly her other passion, helping Friends of El Faro, a group that works to improve the lives of the Casa Hogar Sion orphanage.
