What Will Become of Vienna’s Engagement Ring? We Have a Plan!

Whatever will become of Vienna’s Engagement Ring? We have some thoughts!

Sometimes the trickiest part of a breakup is divvying up the joint assets. In the case of the Bachelor breakup between Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi the one asset they shared was the 2.72 carat Neil Lane diamond ring that Jake gave to Vienna at the conclusion of the ABC show in March.

Vienna reportedly returned the ring to Jake this week and Jake in turn gave it back to the Bachelor’s production company. But what happens to it now? The ring is worth an estimated $50,000, but should it really be used for another engagement? Doesn’t it have bad juju? Probably, but you know what would fix that juju right up? Auctioning this ring off for charity. Come on ABC, let’s get top dollar for this cursed bauble and free it of all its reality television demons whilst doing some good.

Just a thought. Let us know if you decide to take our advice.

It’s So Nice to Be Writing a NICE Kate Moss Headline

Because we really do love this British supermodel. This week, Kate Moss and The Wire star Dominic West (we also adore this man!) are among the celebs designing their own prints of iconic landmark the London Eye to raise money for London’s Evelina Children’s Hospital.

Other celebs including Jude Law‘s, ex-wife and Moss best bud Sadie Frost, and British actresses Jaime Winstone and Samantha Morton have also expressed their creative sides by making their own illustrations of the big wheel, which offers views of the British capital and beyond. The images, which cost $7.50 each, can be purchased from the London Eye gift shop. Cash raised will benefit the Evelina Children’s Hospital.

Gladys Knight is a Diva With a Heart

Combining fashion and social consciousness, the legendary R&B singer is debuting her Gladys Knight Jewelry collection at the Essence Music Festival over the July 4th weekend in New Orleans.

A portion of all sales from the line will benefit the Kumasi Women’s Cooperative in Ghana. The pieces in the collection include handcrafted beads produced by West African artisans.

“I am so grateful for this opportunity to continue to express my love to my fans. My jewelry is an extension of my music which is an extension of my heart and soul. To have this opportunity to employ workers in Ghana and create jewelry that is environmentally friendly while at the same time affordable, is a dream come true!” Knight said. Many of the pieces are produced by workers being paid fair wages in Ghana.

And the pieces are gorgeous to boot. We got a sneak peak and can say they represent everything that is larger than life about Gladys herself!
