Justin Bieber not only wowed the crowd with his performance of his inspirational new track “Pray,” but he also walked away with FOUR awards.
The young singer also gave props to a certain musical genius that we all know and love.
“Without Michael Jackson none of us would be here,” Biebs said as he went onstage to collect one of his many trophies. He dedicated his impressive pile of awards to his mentor and benefactor, Usher.
Rocker Pink, pregnant with her first child, still raised her glass (literally) when she performed “Raise Your Glass” for the packed Nokia Theater crowd. The audience could see a hint of baby bump beneath a pair of high-waisted bloomers and a bikini top. Now we know what we’re wearing to grandma’s for Thanksgiving.
For the slightly older set, worlds collided when the two greatest boy bands of the past twenty years collaborated onstage. Yes, Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block (Do we have to call them NKOTB?) performed a medley of their greatest hits … together.
It was a weird moment when the 12-year-old girl in us met the college freshman and they started dancing together.
