Most stars ask for several page spreads in gossip magazines when they announce an addition to their families so they can wax poetic about the joys of pregnancy. Not Alanis Morissette. The 36-year-old singer used the final entry in an US Weekly column titled, “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me,” to announce her good news. The final entry was: “I am Pregnant.”
Nothing ironic about that.
This is the rock goddess’ first baby with her new hubby, Mario Treadway. The couple said their vows in front of family and friends in Los Angeles in May. It was the first marriage for both.

So many starlets these days are attributing their good looks to happy relationships. First Angelina Jolie revealed that Brad Pitt and her brood of kids were what made her so happy and glowing. Then Julia Roberts told David Letterman that her secret for looking so young was the “love of a good man,” and now George Clooney‘s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis has declared her boyfriend is “better than plastic surgery,” according to Entertainment Tonight.
The 31-year-old actress says Clooney makes her feel 18 again.

Justin Bieber Is Building Schools
Bieber’s got a new charity on his plate. The tweensy tiny singer announced on Friday, while speaking at his mentor Usher‘s New Look Foundation World Leadership Awards, that he is now working with Pencils of Promise, an organization that partners with local communities to build schools and increase educational opportunities in the developing world. POP focuses on early education, high potential females and empowering a new generation of passionate young leaders to create profound good.
“It’s all about giving back and helping out kids that need education. It’s really important that I’m able to help out other kids. I’m a kid myself, so it means a lot to me,” the Biebs said.
He also confirmed that he will be working with the acne fighting formula Proactiv.
