Kelly Bensimon’s Closet Castaways Feed a Village
Real housewife Kelly Bensimon hosted a tag sale over the weekend of designer duds from her Hamptons and Manhattan closets. She spread the goods on the lawn of Georgica Creek Antiques in Wainscott, N.Y. and allowed the voracious housewives of the Hamptons to snatch up her castaways.
The clothes purge was all for a good cause. Proceeds went to Island Harvest, an organization that feeds the poor of Long Island.
Our sources say all the frocks were in good condition. Just the rare cat scratch here and there.
The Cast of The Breakfast Club Reunites After 25 Years
This event truly seemed too good to be true, but it wasn’t. The cast of the iconic ’80s flick reunited in NYC on Monday night to remember late director John Hughes.
US Weekly caught up with the cast to ask them where their characters would be now. We loved Judd Nelson‘s answer about where the serial bad boy John Bender would end up.
“He’d clearly be the principal of that high school!” Nelson told the mag. “He knows a lot of what those kids are going though.”
He’s one bull whose horns wouldn’t take any crap.
Gleeks Give Love to the Gloved One
The King of Pop still reigns supreme! In anticipation of the season premiere of Glee, Metrolyrics conducted a poll of more than 20,000 fans to see which artist should get the Glee treatment next by having an episode dedicated exclusively to their songs. Michael Jackson swept the competition. An overwhelming 43 percent of fans voted him to follow in the footsteps on Madonna, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears (which is supposedly happening this season) with a dedicated episode, potentially becoming the first male star to have the honor.
Who else do fans want Gleekified?
Guns N’ Roses – 17 percent
Abba -16 percent
Frank Sinatra – 12 percent
Elton John – 7 percent
