Lindsay Lohan has been hitting the bottle — no guys, not THAT bottle, a spray tan bottle!
Inspired by a celebrity airbrush tanner, sun-kissed skin and her quest to continue number-themed companies (lifestyle brand 6126), Lohan has paired with Lorit Simon to create Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist.
If a healthy alternative to tanning beds and harmful UVA/UVB rays isn’t enough, Sevin Nyne donates a portion of the profits to skin cancer awareness charities.
We should all cherish our skin, but if you’re anything like me (don’t worry, I wont tell), sometimes the suntan lotion will purposely be left in the beach bag just to gain a sunburn. Why do this? It’s the quick, yet painful and unhealthy way of getting some color, since we all think, “Maybe this time, I’ll get tan.” So because of this damaging skin scenario (of which even I am guilty), Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist is, “Lindsay and Lorit’s way of bottling the magic of a perfect tan.”
Within the slender black and hot pink environmentally-friendly aerosol can, the mist is infused with key ingredients to illuminate your skin with a streak-free, long-lasting and even immediate golden glow. To enhance your skin, hydrating chardonnay extract (insert your rehab joke here) and antioxidant rich goji berry have been added to make the healthy glow even healthier.
A spray tan usually means only one worry: looking like an Oompa Loompa or Paris Hilton (I can’t remember who inspired who). According to Lindsay and Lorit when asked, “Will my tan look orange or fake?,” their answer is “No!” This is due to the special process in which, “A customized fine caramel mist is sprayed on the skin and blends instantly. It is applied over the body and face with no streaks, blotches, or a need to rub in.” There ya have it!
It’s been three years in the making, but Sevin Nyne can be found at Sephora for a reasonable price and just in time for summer, shorts, skirts, bikinis and other fair-skinned fears. Go ahead, hit the bottle!
