Warren Buffett has auctioned off advice-giving lunches before and raised millions for charity while doing it. But this year’s auction has broken all previous records, bringing in a staggering $2.63 million for the Glide Foundation. The organization provides food, health care, housing and job training for San Francisco’s homeless.
The winner of the eBay auction (who has yet to be named) can bring up to seven friends along with him/her to dine with Buffett at the Smith & Wollensky steakhouse in New York City.
