Actress Mia Farrow and agent Carole White will testify on Monday, August 9 about a “blood diamond” that was supposedly given to supermodel Naomi Campbell by former president of Liberia, Charles Taylor.
This all started when Farrow and Campbell were at a dinner hosted by then South African president Nelson Mandela in September 1997. Taylor allegedly presented Campbell with a very large diamond in the middle of the night.
Taylor has been on trial since 2008 for his role in the civil war in Sierra Leone and is being accused of arming rebels in return for illegally mined diamonds.
