Microsoft’s OneNote Comes to the iPhone

The days of toting your life around in a plastic box from Staples (or is that just me?), well, have been over for quite some time, but Microsoft‘s OneNote is making it even easier to transition to a digital file cabinet — saving you lots of time and lots of paper.

OneNote is searchable digital notebook where you can store documents, photos, audio and video recordings and more.

Yesterday the OneNote app launched for the iPhone (Android and Blackberry users will just have to wait) to help you be more efficient, creative and most of all, organized, reports PC World.

The app allows you to sync your PC or Mac with your phone so when you’re on the go, you still have access to your entire life.

Takeshi Numoto, corporate vice president of the Microsoft Office Product Management Group explains, “In case you haven’t experienced the unsung hero of Office, OneNote is a digital notebook that lets you put everything you need to remember in one electronic place and then easily find it wherever you are. I use it every day. Think of it as a digital file cabinet for all the random bits of information that are too hard to keep track of in your head.”

For promotional purposes it’s free for a limited time.
