After several weeks of seeing her name bandied about in the tabloids and dealing with some serious family drama, Miley Cyrus has decided that giving back might just be the best way to heal her own wounds.
Cyrus has reportedly flown to Haiti, as part of the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s latest mission. The singer is helping the group bring supplies and resources to deaf children in the devastated nation.
But unlike most stars who bring big entourages with them when they do humanitarian work abroad, Cyrus has kept the trip largely to herself.
We hear a lot about how Cyrus and her Disney counterparts have an obligation to behave like role models for the millions of fans who look up to them. It looks like Miley is doing her part. You go girl!
