Ms. Cyrus is doing a great job of making everyone forget about that little bong-smoking incident. She recently took a secret trip to Haiti to help the Starkey Hearing Foundation bring supplies to deaf children in need. Starting tonight, she’s literally giving the shirt off her back for charity in an auction of her clothing.
In a collaboration between Youth Service America and Miley’s Get Ur Good On, eBay will host auctions of the pop star’s belongings, including clothing, shoes and autographed CDs and DVDs. Get ready to keep refreshing the page here.
Miley explains, “Get Ur Good On has been set up because I want everyone to know these young people’s stories, what they have accomplished and for them to have a voice.”
She did something similar last summer and raised $30,000 for youth-led volunteer projects.
As with almost everyone, it seems that the more good the 18-year-old does, the more good it does her. Of the Haiti trip she said, “It was an amazing experience to watch kids hear for the first time in their lives.”
We don’t know what’s next for her, but if a lock of Justin Bieber‘s hair brought in $40,000, imagine what Miley’s extensions could raise.
