At least some man’s fantasy came true … and he can feel really good about his dirty mind.
Gentlemen, Miranda Kerr — the Victoria’s Secret model — is naked in the middle of the forest and willingly chained to a tree … all for a great cause, of course!
Kerr’s foray into nudity is on the cover of the latest edition of Australian Rolling Stone. Not only is it the magazine’s first Green Issue, but also, it’s Miranda Kerr’s first nude shoot. Kerr dared to go bare in support of protecting the environment and to raise awareness for koalas.
Kerr, a native Australian, is the face of the Australian Koala Foundation’s “No Tree, No Me” campaign, which aims to preserve and protect the natural habitat of koalas.
Of course, the Australian press noticed that she bared all for the bears. Oz’s The Daily Telegraph got a sneak peek of the mag and says Kerr told Rolling Stone, “I feel strongly about the need to protect our natural environment because it supports our life.”
The paper says the brunette beauty stressed the importance of her cause for the magazine, saying, “It’s a sad thing, there are only about 100,000 koalas left in Australia … Something like 80 percent of the koalas’ habitat has been destroyed since Europeans arrived in Australia.”
The Green Issue also features other Australian stars that discuss environmental issues near and dear to their hearts. Some of the fellow “Eco Warriors” includes John Butler, Xavier Rudd and Ruby Rose.
As for Kerr, the 26-year-old is sure that any efforts, big or small, will benefit our delicate planet. “I believe every effort we make now has a reaction — if we’re making positive changes, if we’re all doing the simple, small things we can do to help the environment, it makes a big difference,” she said.
As for her famous sexy, lean and mean bikini body … uhh, I mean, celebrity status? “The great thing about having people recognize you is you can try to make a positive difference — that’s what I’m trying to do,” she told the mag.
Now we just have to get her to tell us Victoria’s Secret.
