Scientists and their mothers have been buzzing about NASA‘s press conference today at 2 p.m. EST to “discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life.” What is astrobiology? Glad you asked. It’s the “study of the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe.” So … aliens!
The details NASA gave were vague, which of course causes the imagination to run wild. Some experts speculate that one of our rovers on Mars might have found some interesting evidence, while others think it involves one of Saturn’s moons.
Either way, especially after the alleged UFOs spotted over Manhattan in October, I think everyone will anxiously await the announcement.
You can watch the conference live here. And you can brush up on your Vulcan here.
