Google just announced that it will be hiring 6,200 more employees in 2011, the most it has ever hired in a single year.
If you were to apply and get a job, the chance of all your coworkers looking like the woman to the right may be slim, but the good news is that Google treats its current team of 24,000 really well.
For example, the Mountain View Office in California is kinda like college but a million times better. Perks include free lunch and dinner prepared by gourmet chefs, massages, haircuts, access to roller hockey, an outdoor volleyball court, slides and much more.
The company explains, “Our priority is to offer a customizable program that can be tailored to the specific needs of each individual, whether they enjoy ice climbing in Alaska, want to retire by age 40, or plan to adopt three children.” Sweet!
They also reimburse your tuition if you have a B average or better, pay for your daycare and match your charity donations up to $12,000.
