Anthony Miaoulis, 24, of Miami, surprised his aunt, Mary Kaklamanakis, with a very special gift: his kidney. Her condition was serious, and her nephew did everything he could to save her life.
Ironically the day of Kaklamanakis’ surgery, July 14, was also the anniversary of the death of Anthony’s father and Mary’s brother, George Miaoulis, who had died exactly seven years ago from kidney failure.
