New From Emperial Nation, the Aristocrat Polo

I love Emperial Nation. Here’s why.

Emperial Nation is a T-shirt company which  urges you to “respect the history.” They essentially make hot shirts for history nerds and fashionasters (is that male for fashionistas?) alike.

I find this especially cool because there is such a wealth of T-shirts on the market. You can really get whatever you want printed on a T-shirt — clever sayings, graphic art, ’60s bands … in fact, at CafePress, you can literally get anything you want printed on a T-shirt.

Men’s fashion tends to lag far behind women’s, and these T-shirts are something a dude’s dude can wear to be “in” without going overboard. It’s a delicate balance.

Emperial Nation stands apart from the crowd (and whatever your college roommate just made himself) because their T-shirts educate and raise awareness. So far, they’ve released T-shirts with important/controversial images from:

… and more. If you happen to have an interest in one of those things, I bet you didn’t know there was a T-shirt for you! Well, now you do. And best of all, now they have a polo T-shirt which is especially sexy in that intellectual-cool-guy kind of way. The tee features the classic guillotine from their French Revolution collection (way more badass than Lacoste’s alligator or Polo’s polo horse), and comes in white or black — and is on sale — for $50. The other shirts cost less. Shop here, men.
