The Mac Guy has some fresh competition from the MacDaddy teen.
Harlem 13-year-old Nicholi White is the latest YouTube sensation after making lip-synced music videos at the Big Apple’s biggest apple store. Surrounded by everyday shoppers, White turned the Apple joint into his own makeshift video studio cranking out clips for songs by the Black Eyed Peas, Lil Wayne and Kid Cudi, among others. The hits have been piling up, and now the daytime talk shows have even come calling. He’s already been featured in the New York Post, and TV producers are bringing him to LA for possible appearances. White, who returns to school on Sept. 9, appears set to become to new big man on campus.
Personally, I’d be too chicken to bust out the moves in front of a crowd of snobby iPhone and Mac users (and yes I wrote this from an Apple Powerbook), so you have to love this kid’s ingenuity. He busts it out like a star, and his charisma and boldness make you think a lot more is yet to come.
