Just like us, Gossip Girl‘s Leighton Meester has been touched by the story of one-year-old Ayelet Galena from New York who has a rare bone marrow failure disorder.
Ayelet won’t live to enjoy her childhood unless her family is able to find a bone marrow match and get her a transplant.

The baby’s mother said, “Every time my baby gets a tiny cold, I wonder if she will be able to fight it off. I know there is some charitable soul out there who can save my daughter.
