Ready for an advent-ure?
Musician and humanitarian Peter Buffett launched an interactive digital calendar on Dec. 1, which presents a new door with an inspiring message each day until Christmas.
Buffett guides his do-gooder fans to support organizations such as Toys for Tots, One Warm Coat, the Red Cross’ “Holiday Mail for Heroes” program and Women for Women. Shout outs to charities are interspersed with songs from his holiday album, Star of Wonder, video blogs and spoken sections from his book, Life Is What You Make It.
The calendar was relaunched this year in honor of Jessica Wasilewski, the artist who made the beautiful backdrop. She passed away in April after losing her fight with multiple myeloma.
