Roy Halladay is the only Philadelphia Phillies member to pitch a perfect game, other than Jim Bunning in 1963 against the New York Mets. Coincidentally, just 21 days ago, Dallas Braden from the Oakland Athletics also pitched a perfect game when up against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Ballplayers must be on fire this year because it is the first time in this century that two pitchers have thrown perfect games in the same season.
