Track Santa Claus With NORAD

santa-reindeer.jpgSo rumor has it that there’s some sort of holiday happening tomorrow. Of course, I’m talking about Christmas, and one of the favorite activities on Christmas Eve is finding out where Santa Claus is on his yearly journey to bring presents and cheer to all the good little boys and girls out there. Leave it to NORAD (otherwise known as the Northern American Aerospace Defense Command) to bring you an easy guide to find out where the big guy is minute by minute.

NORAD has partnered with Google so you and your kids can watch as Santa and his reindeer quickly span the globe. At the time of this blog’s publication, Santa is currently in Victoria, Seychelles, probably sipping milk to help wash down the delicious cookies he’s eating.

The map at the NORAD Santa Tracker Web site also offers interesting information for all the different places Saint Nick has already visited. Included are Santa Cam videos, links to Wikipedia articles and photos of the area from Panoramio.com. In addition, you can enter your cell phone number and send Santa to your phone.

So as you’re warming yourself in front of the fire with the kids, bring the laptop, fire up the Wi-Fi and watch as Santa heads ever closer to your house. And don’t forget to leave the milk and cookies out.
