The good news is that, after falling off a stage, Jimmy Buffett is in stable condition at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, TMZ reports. The bad news is that he might have a throbbing headache for the next few days.
The 64-year-old singer took an unpleasant tumble off a stage when he was finishing up an encore for a sold-out concert at Hordern Pavilion in southeast Australia.
While he was jamming out to the song “Lovely Cruise,” he ironically sang the lyric, “It’s been a lovely cruise, I’m sorry it’s ended,” just before he fell. Fans who were nearby when he landed said his head was bleeding and he was unconscious for about five to 10 minutes.
We have a hope and a hunch that he’s gonna be OK. Sending some good vibes his way wouldn’t hurt either.
