Test Wedding and Honeymoon Spots — And Get Paid for It

beach_couple.jpgIf you and your significant other have six months free from May until November and don’t mind traveling to various amazing locations across the globe, then I may just have the job for you. CNN reported on Irish travel agency Runaway Bride and Groom, who, in association with the Irish Times, has come up with what they call “The Ultimate Job in Ireland (and probably the World!).”

As the website reads, “We are looking for the right person (and their partner) to research and test out the most romantic and ultimate wedding and honeymoon destinations all over the world and then report back with their verdict (on the place, not the partner!) to their boss, 4,000 miles away.” And even though it’s the ultimate job in Ireland, you don’t need to be Irish or live in Ireland to apply. As CNN reported, over 1,000 couples have already submitted applications, and as Rosemarie Meleady, the travel agency’s managing director, is quoted, “We’ve had applications from Korea, China, Macedonia, Croatia, India and Saudi Arabia.”

Should you win, you will need to blog a few times a week and write once per month for the Irish Times, but you’ll be traveling to multiple continents and be paid 20,000 euros (about $27,000) for your time. The application deadline has been extended to April 7 due to “massive international demand,” and all you need to do is fill out an application and submit a YouTube video of you and your significant other that’s less than 80 seconds, describing why Ireland is a great wedding destination and why you and your partner are the right people for the job. Click here to see what types of videos they’re receiving.

It’s a tough job, but they need someone to do it, so why shouldn’t it be you?
