When Ben Sater was young, he promised himself that before he went off to college, he would raise $1 million for the Dallas children’s hospital where he had received free treatments for a condition called trigger finger.
Now at 18 years old and ready to begin Austin College in the fall, Sater announced on Monday that he reached his goal!
After years of fundraising through golf tournaments for kids, exactly $1,018,842 was acquired for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, an orthopedic center that treats patients free of charge.
