The world waited with bated breath as he searched his soul, nay, his gut, for the answer to the question. Where would he go? Where would the ultimate prize of chain restaurant free-agency land?
When it came time, it became apparent that a decision this monumental, one that would shift the landscape of casual dining forever (or at least for that evening) couldn’t just be made with a press conference; it needed it’s own one hour special. Fortunately for us viewers, Steve Carell‘s decision comes in the first three minutes of this subtly hilarious spoof of LeBron James‘ ESPN special. Maybe it’s pal Paul Rudd‘s masterful handling of those hard-hitting questions; maybe Carrell was hungrier than he thought; maybe it was the intoxicating draw of the Blooming Onion, but in the end, only Steve (and maybe the guy who lives in the condo above him) will know the why — we just know the where.
Sorry Chili’s, maybe you should bring back your heart attack-inducing Awesome Blossom.
