This thesis examines Queer resistant spaces and how the architecture of an LGBT center can transcend society.The goal is to amplify an LGBT voice within the architecture community. In the following year my thesis strives to strengthen my voice as an architect in SCI-Arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture). My future aspirations involve changing society through architectural practice and academic teaching of architecture history. Financially, I am struggling to make my thesis a reality. My grades have helped me pay for my tuition thus far, yet the basic necessities (computer i.e.) to properly execute a thesis have become a burden. My 4+ year old computer can not possibly keep up.
